Coaches are looking for people who can play and who will still be enrolled in second year. Everything you send should answer those two questions.

Make first contact yourself

A short direct email with position, year of graduation, academic standing, and a link to unedited game footage does more than any packaged profile. Coaches read these; they do not read brochures.

Video

Full-game or long-clip footage beats a highlight reel, because it shows what you do when you are not on the ball. Keep it plain — no music, no effects, clear identification of which player you are.

Warning signs when someone offers to help

Guaranteed placement, guaranteed scholarship amounts, large fees paid up front, and pressure to commit quickly are all reasons to slow down. No third party can guarantee an admission decision or an athletic award, and any promise phrased that way is not a promise anyone can keep.
